Bellway Homes’ Diamonds and Champagne day

Think of the following three things and name the screen star who comes to mind.   Gamine, Ascot, diamonds.

Well done if a vision of Audrey Hepburn dripping in diamonds flashed into your mind.  For people eager to emulate Audrey’s unique style the house builder Bellway South East joined with Daniel Rosen, Proprietor of 4Cs Diamonds of Hatton Garden, for a Diamonds and Champagne Day.  The event took place at Bellway’s Hanover Park scheme of new homes at Burleigh Road in Ascot on Saturday 10 December 2005 from 12 noon to 4pm.

Daniel set up a selection of un-cut diamonds, engagement and eternity rings and conducted a series of 45 minute tutorials in diamonds and diamond grading, that included a full explanation of the 4cs (cut, clarity, colour and carat weight) and the opportunity to view diamonds under the microscope and through the loop (that’s the eye glass). 

Palvinder Thandi, Sales Director of Bellway South East, said: “We chose the Diamonds and Champagne theme as Hanover Park is only a 10 minute walk from Ascot racecourse.  Ascot is a town famous for its racing and fashion heritage, just mention it and people will think of the sport of kings and beautifully dressed women in large hats and jewels, holding a flute of champagne.  We wanted people to come and enjoy Hanover Park and take a look around the furnished 5-bedroom show house and at the diamonds while they drank their champagne.  The event was well attended and we’d like to thank Daniel Rosen of 4Cs Diamonds for making this event possible by bringing along a selection of dazzling gems and giving the fascinating tutorials.”

Daniel Rosen, proprietor of 4Cs Diamonds, said: “A number of diamonds were reserved today and the buyers are coming to our Hatton Garden offices to have the diamonds made into a ring, cufflinks and a pendant.  We offer a personal service, as all work is made in house by master craftsmen to client’s own designs, specifications and individual requirements.  Our diamonds are sourced directly from the cutting houses around the world, and are all certified.”
