Q. I don’t know anything about diamonds. How do I know what I’m buying?

A. All diamonds come with a certificate and report usually prepared by the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) which lists the 4Cs, (Carat weight, Colour, Clarity and Cut) as well as the proportions of the stone. This report and all the characteristics will be fully explained to you so you will know exactly what you are buying.
